Pakistan’s First Combined HV Wire & LV Foil Winding Machine for Single-Phase Transformers Now in Operation

April 2026 – We have completed the installation and commissioning of our combined HV wire winding and LV foil winding machine at one of Pakistan’s largest transformer manufacturing plants. This marks an important step in our ongoing cooperation with power equipment manufacturers in high-growth markets.

The Traditional winding processes typically require the high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) coils to be wound on two separate machines in two distinct operations. In contrast, the core design concept of the combined HV & LV winding machine is “two-in-one”: by integrating LV foil winding and HV wire winding into a single system, it enables “suspended winding” without contacting or damaging the transformer core.  This winding machine suitable for winding single phase transformer and 3-phase transformer both.

Precision control for consistent coil quality

The machine runs on servo control tension system. For HV coils, it handles 4 flat wires; for LV windings, copper or aluminum foil. In both cases, it delivers tight layer alignment, consistent margins, and repeatable coil geometry.  The Independent foil winding unit for low-voltage coils and the wire winding unit for high-voltage coils can switched over quickly between the two modes. And this machine Equipped with an automatic wire arranging system and a high-precision servo drive, and integrated with photoelectric alignment sensors, the machine can automatically adjust the wire positioning and insulation layer placement, ensuring winding neatness within 0.5 mm.

Designed for smoother daily operation

We put significant attention into operator usability. The machine automates wire arranging, foil feeding, and insulation laying, with optional support for TIG welding. Operators store and recall winding recipes through an HMI, which makes changeovers fast and reduces the chance of setup errors between different transformer designs.

Built for continuous industrial use

The machine rests on a heavy-duty steel frame and is engineered for low-maintenance, continuous operation in demanding production environments. It is not a laboratory machine—it is meant to work day in, day out, and to remain stable over years of service.

Transformer Home was founded with a clear mission: to enable transformer manufacturers worldwide through integrated, precision-driven systems rather than isolated machines. Originating from Shanghai and backed by over two decades of industry experience,  We have the CE, ISO, And various patent certificates, Our excellent service has also enabled us to accumulate numerous international case clients, including renowned enterprises such as GE, ABB, WEIDMANN, and ALFANAR etc
